gcloud alpha compute addresses delete - release reserved IP addresses
gcloud alpha compute addresses delete NAME [NAME ...] [--global | --region=REGION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) gcloud alpha compute addresses delete releases one or more Compute Engine IP addresses.
To release an address with the name 'address-name', run:
$ gcloud alpha compute addresses delete address-name
To release two addresses with the names 'address-name1' and 'address-name2', run:
$ gcloud alpha compute addresses delete addressname1 address-name2
- NAME [NAME ...]
Names of the addresses to delete.
- At most one of these can be specified:
- --global
If set, the addresses are global.
- --region=REGION
Region of the addresses to delete. Overrides the default compute/region property value for this command invocation.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
