gcloud alpha compute addresses describe - display detailed information about an address
gcloud alpha compute addresses describe NAME [--global | --region=REGION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) gcloud alpha compute addresses describe displays all data associated with an address in a project.
To get details about a global address, run:
$ gcloud alpha compute addresses describe ADDRESS --global
To get details about a regional address, run:
$ gcloud alpha compute addresses describe ADDRESS \ --region=us-central1
- NAME
Name of the address to describe.
- At most one of these can be specified:
- --global
If set, the address is global.
- --region=REGION
Region of the address to describe. Overrides the default compute/region property value for this command invocation.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
