gcloud alpha compute firewall-policies update - update a Compute Engine organization firewall policy
gcloud alpha compute firewall-policies update FIREWALL_POLICY [--description=DESCRIPTION] [--organization=ORGANIZATION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) gcloud alpha compute firewall-policies update is used to update organization firewall policies. An organization firewall policy is a set of rules that controls access to various resources.
To update an organization firewall policy with ID ``123456789" to change the description to ``New description", run:
$ gcloud alpha compute firewall-policies update 123456789 \ --description='New description'
- FIREWALL_POLICY
Short name or ID of the firewall policy to update.
- --description=DESCRIPTION
An optional, textual description for the organization security policy.
- --organization=ORGANIZATION
Organization in which the organization firewall policy is to be updated. Must be set if FIREWALL_POLICY is short name.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
