gcloud alpha config configurations create - creates a new named configuration
gcloud alpha config configurations create CONFIGURATION_NAME [--no-activate] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) Creates a new named configuration.
Except for special cases (NONE), configuration names start with a lower case letter and contain only lower case letters a-z, digits 0-9, and hyphens '-'.

To create a new named configuration, run:
$ gcloud alpha config configurations create my-config
- CONFIGURATION_NAME

- --activate
If true, activate this configuration upon create. Enabled by default, use --no-activate to disable.

Run $ gcloud help for details.
This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
$ gcloud config configurations create
$ gcloud beta config configurations create
