gcloud alpha container images untag - remove existing image tags
gcloud alpha container images untag IMAGE_NAME [IMAGE_NAME ...] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) The container images untag command removes the specified tag from the image.
Removes the tag from the input IMAGE_NAME:
$ gcloud alpha container images untag <IMAGE_NAME>
- IMAGE_NAME [IMAGE_NAME ...]
The fully qualified name(s) of image(s) to untag. The name(s) should be formatted as *.gcr.io/PROJECT_ID/IMAGE_PATH:TAG.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
