gcloud alpha filestore snapshots delete SNAPSHOT (--region=REGION | --zone=ZONE) [--async] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
(ALPHA) Delete a Filestore snapshot.
This command can fail for the following reasons:
The snapshot specified does not exist.
The active account does not have permission to delete the given snapshot.
The following command deletes a snapshot with the name 'my-snapshot' in the region us-central1:
$ gcloud alpha filestore snapshots delete my-snapshot \ --region=us-central1
- SNAPSHOT
Arguments and flags that specify the Filestore snapshot you want to delete.
- Exactly one of these must be specified:
- --region=REGION
Compute region (e.g. us-central1) for the snapshot.
- --zone=ZONE
Compute zone (e.g. us-central1-c) for the snapshot.
- --async
Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to complete.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
