gcloud alpha sql instances restore-backup - restores a backup of a Cloud SQL instance
gcloud alpha sql instances restore-backup INSTANCE [--async] [--backup-id=BACKUP_ID] [--backup-instance=BACKUP_INSTANCE] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]

- INSTANCE
Cloud SQL instance ID that will be restored.
- --async
Return immediately, without waiting for the operation in progress to complete.
- --backup-id=BACKUP_ID
The ID of the backup run to restore from.
- --backup-instance=BACKUP_INSTANCE
The ID of the instance that the backup was taken from.
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.

This command is currently in alpha and might change without notice. If this command fails with API permission errors despite specifying the correct project, you might be trying to access an API with an invitation-only early access allowlist. These variants are also available:
