gcloud compute url-maps set-default-service - change the default service or default bucket of a URL map
gcloud compute url-maps set-default-service URL_MAP (--default-backend-bucket=DEFAULT_BACKEND_BUCKET | --default-service=DEFAULT_SERVICE) [--global | --region=REGION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG ...]
gcloud compute url-maps set-default-service is used to change the default service or default bucket of a URL map. The default service or default bucket is used for any requests for which there is no mapping in the URL map.
- URL_MAP
Name of the URL map to operate on.
- Exactly one of these must be specified:
- --default-backend-bucket=DEFAULT_BACKEND_BUCKET
A backend bucket that will be used for requests for which this URL map has no mappings.
- --default-service=DEFAULT_SERVICE
A backend service that will be used for requests for which this URL map has no mappings.
- At most one of these can be specified:
- --global
If set, the URL map is global.
- --region=REGION
Region of the URL map to operate on. If not specified, you might be prompted to select a region (interactive mode only).
To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the compute/region property:
$ gcloud config set compute/region REGION
A list of regions can be fetched by running:
$ gcloud compute regions list
To unset the property, run:
$ gcloud config unset compute/region
Alternatively, the region can be stored in the environment variable CLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_REGION.
